The arrival of my daughter inspired me to prepare the statue. I wanted
to capture some moments of her growth in the tummy, to grab and encapsulate
these unique and for me really important moments. I took the sample for the sculpture from my wife by
direct casting, and then I created the sculpture by shaping it along my own
creative inspiration and the “own will” of the materials.
