The arrival of my daughter inspired me to prepare the statue. I wanted
to capture one of the last moments of her growth in the tummy and grab and
encapsulate one moment of her final preparation to arrive to Earth. I took the sample for the sculpture
from my wife by direct casting, and then I created the sculpture by shaping it
along my own creative inspiration and the “own will” of the materials.
